MEDPIN 340B PHARMACY BOOKS
Problem: Although these books were part of the same series and needed to be seen as such, each book had completely different audiences. The budget did not allow for a photo shoot or stock images.
Solution: We chose to represent, through illustration, the history of pharmacy. From the plant leaf and seed/nut medicinal plants ginseng and podophyllum used from about 2000 B.C. on to the basic mortar and pestle, to the flasks, burner and test tube of the chemistry stage to the pills, capsules and tablet bottles of today.
Results: These books appeal to both audiences equally and the bold, positive colors make the right statement of seriousness without being boring. The books have generated very positive feedback from the client and readers, with their overall appeal and ease of reading.
