EFP POSTER
30" x 40" one-sided map poster
Project challenge: We needed to introduce the concept of a single, connected eastern forest and to outline the most important issues concerning this forest region. The poster was to serve as a presntation tool for meetings with politicians and policy-makers.
Solution: We chose to present the single-forest concept through the use of GIS/cartography. By taking this approach we gained the ability to illustrate within the same map two of the three main threats to the area urban sprawl and forest defragmentation. We supported the map with text that briefly explains the threats and the regions that are most endangered.
Target audience: Politicians and policy-makers, member organizations, environmental groups, activists and individuals interested in protecting the environment.
